Qatar`s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has announced the selection of 25 local and international start-ups from 14 countries to join the 2024 TASMU Accelerator programme. Over 640 applicants from 74 countries were initially considered and after thorough evaluation, 40 start-ups advanced to a pre-acceleration phase, from which only the top 3% were selected.

The evaluation process was conducted by a panel of over 12 subject matter experts and investors. In addition it included multiple pitch sessions where participants showcased their go-to-market strategies. Moreover, the evaluation criteria focused on each start-up’s potential to expand into Qatar, generate revenue and secure funding for future growth.

As a result, the 2024 TASMU Accelerator cohort includes innovative start-ups including Eshfaa, YMarinas, Corpal, Knowlepdy, Aumet, Oreyeon, Hayat Tech, PhysioHome, DeepLeaf, 2Sync, Nafas, Schoolz, Godaam Technologies, Buildhop, Trust iT, Cognecto, Warden Machinery, NextAV, NeoDocs, YallaReturn, Savyn, HealthCompass, Parrots Neurocare AI/ML, Santechture and Wrenev.
