SEO and Content Writing

25/06/20

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation. Everything is available online and a business with no website is almost invisible. We buy flights online, book appointments, read news online and search for information. Likewise we shop for groceries and takeaway food and have them delivered. This is done when we want, we are living in the instant era.

In Qatar E-Commerce is a fast growing sector. All major retailers now have online presence with so many ways to attract customers. SEO Friendly Websites and Content

Your website must be SEO friendly and rank high in the search engine results pages (SERPs). But how does this work? Search engines crawl the web looking for websites to provide you the best match to your search.

For example, consider your own searching habits. Do you scroll through pages of results to find what you want? Or do you choose an organic top three (non advertised) result?

Competition to rank in the top three is incredibly high, so how do you compete? The answer is by following good SEO practices, but what are these? Basically SEO should be a continuous process, you need to invest hours of time into your website. In other words, it is not something you will achieve overnight. Practice Holistic Techniques

Holistic SEO is a combination of techniques that can boost your ranking in the SERPs.

Firstly you need to know what your customers are searching for. How do they find you online and what words do they use? This is where keyword research is so important.

Secondly you must provide a great user experience. Is your website easy to navigate? Can potential customers find what they are looking for? Also, the speed of your website is important too. Therefore it should be quick enough to engage your customers and stop them hitting the back button.

Thirdly you must provide great content. Does your website provide information the user is searching for? This refers back to knowing what keywords your visitors use. Content writing should be regular and contain inbound and outbound links to other sites. As a result this allows your site to be regularly crawled and re ranked in the search engines database.

Finally you need to ensure all of this is done securely. In any business trust is a must and more so online. Think about it. If you are processing payments it must be 100% secure!
